Congratulations to the Dora High School students who produced this blogspot of my home area. I was a student at Dora High 1941 but had to drop out after Pearl Harbor attack. I hunted and camped in the Caney Mountains before it became a conservation and game preserve. I know quite a bit of history of Caney mountain area and development if requested. Keep up the good work! I am so impressed with what these young flim makers have given us. They have showed the Ozarks in such a wonderful light. The stories they tell and the pictures we see are why we have returned to the Ozarks after thirty years. I hope to see more of your work soon. Maybe at Sundance? By the way I worked at the old Dora school (it was a dump)back in the seventies pushing a broom. My wife and I were thrilled to see the new building when we returned three years ago. Say hello to our old family friend Mary Collins please. Keep up the good work.
